RIDGE RACER UNBOUNDED REVIEW XBOX 360 8th May 2012

RIDGE RACER UNBOUNDED XBOX 360:

Ridge Racer Unbounded is that rare gear head, that cosmetically everything gets the right sparkle.
Ridge Racer Unbounded will frustrate the ghost out of you; you will feel tethered to what the AI wants you to achieve which isn’t to progress, which isn’t to enjoy the experience, which isn’t to win.
You will not find any generosity or mercy from Ridge Racer Unbounded.

Starting with a low spec car you are tasked with reducing the environment to rubble, and this is the only way to progress early on.

You will struggle coming to grips with what an unnatural bastard Ridge Racer Unbounded is.

You will also spend the first half facing a wall whilst the stream of racers push past you, and from the dust and the rubble you will emerge stoically trying to find any willingness to stick with it hurts like a bitch mentality.
The main irk is not being able to progress to the next circuit, it is almost as if the developers have chosen to rub your face on the asphalt leaving you rubbed with oil, and other than to steal your way to refined cars through a ranking system you have to fudge your way to 3rd place or better to even progress.

And whilst I have stuck with this beast and its untamed ego every victory has been earned with luck not skill and there is no sense of balance or even fairness just a bitter sweet farewell of what might have been.

Verdict Weekend Rental.

Article first published 18th April 2012

After watching the Voice UK I have decided that the show and its overall format is tripe left out in the mid day sun.

What is this about? Asking contestants to duel for kudo's from the judgers or whatever points scoring system they are working from.

The looser is omitted whatever way this is played out.

Please step away from the bullshit it's starting to smell, and as you know we currently have a water shortage so we are not able to flush out the drains as quickly as they might have been, so have some respect.

These judges are crediable artists well Sir Tom Jones and Will I Am are anyway. Jessie J and that other bloke have decided success let's you have your say, the right to judge and the right to shoot down other people's ambitions.

What's the point when the entire process is completely redundant of any fairness?

It's absolute bullshit enough said really...

FABRICE MUAMBA:

On a brighter note the Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba has been released from hospital Amen to that.

It's good to have you back Sir and we all wish you a brisk recovery.

The CLASICO Real Madrid V Barcelona first published 18th April 2012

Real Madrid must beat Barcelona in the Clasico its that simple. Barcelona's ill founded dominance and pocket poaching the officials leaves a bad taste.

God willing the insanity comes to order with Real Madrid winning by a sublime margin. We cannot have Barcelona thinking they can go on and boss Europe for a decade can we? Whatever would UEFA say?

CHELSEA V BARCELONA 18th April 2012

Iniesta I don't think Chelsea will be looking for revenge just a fairer result.

Chelsea will make a bold statement by taking the first leg and Chelsea will not be fazed by Messi or Barcelona's creative play.

It isn't a sink or swim approach, although Chelsea must show Barcelona the uppermost respect, subdue and press them.

Chelsea will also be rewarded by keeping possession in Barcelona's half creating goal mouth chances, defensively Barcelona are not strong.

By restricting Barcelona's pressure and counterplay Chelsea would have enough skilled attackers to get to the final provided the latter is adhered to...

Football Fixtures 14th-15th April 2012

Norwich v Manchester City. Can Manchester City turn the competition on it's head Manchester United are marching on with a 5 point lead and with very few games remaining, it is all starting to look doom and gloom. And even with the 5.1. hiding against Norwich City prematurely in the season Norwich are now galvanised claiming victories against Spurs, and a well fought draw against Everton. I am sorry City fans I am calling this a win for Norwich. Sunderland V Wolves. Sunderland look bloody good managing a draw against Spurs as well they should, only to loose 4.0 against Everton. Isn't football a funny mistress. Even so Wolves aren't doing much good either loosing 2.1 against Stoke. I am calling this match a safe draw. Swansea V Blackburn Blackburn won against Swansea 4.2 and the way they have conducted themselves against Manchester United & Liverpool might mean Blackburn will at last turn up and play some winning football. Blackburn to win. West Brom V QPR Take nothing away from QPR they fought well with 10 men against a Manchester United side chasing a 20th title, and this basis I am calling this match a win for QPR. Liverpool V Everton FA CUP Semi Final. LIverpool will struggle in this match with a 3rd choice goal keeper and a mid field who are not pulling the same strings. The exclusion of Gerrard against Blackburn might mean King Kenny is in his transitional mindset, always dangerous. However, that said Liverpool are masters in the latter stages of the FA Cup and KIng Kenny's men will not show Everton any quarter. Difficult to call this one. Manchester United V Aston Villa How can anybody stop Manchester United claiming a 20th title? Even Scholes is coming into the right form, you just have to stand their grimace and applaud. They look the champions now and even by being encumbered by Wigan to a rare loss hasn't dented their title chances not with a 5 point gap this is winning form. Normal service should resume against Aston Villa this weekend favouring Manchester United because of the 1.0 victory over Aston Villa away from home. Prediction Manchster United to win. Spurs V Chelsea FA Cup Semi Final. Another match of significance heads to London and Harry's team will want to save face starting this match with a tighter formation and a more fluid attack. Chelsea on the other hand will start the match the better team with DM's men well prepared and concious of the truth their league meeting amounted to a draw. Meanwhile Spurs will want to put the distraction of the league in the background knowingly aware if the right Spurs team arrives at White Hart Lane victory is assured. Anything less and Chelsea will punish slack jaw defending.

football overview sunday-monday 2012

King kenny's men travel to st james park where newcastle have not been the victim of their own embarassment. Liverpool will not be able to take this match lightly if the opportunity prevails for either team to get something out of this match. Prediction 2.1. Liverpool. Spurs v swansea. Swansea have proven when they are hungry the will to win could break through any steel barbed cage. Spurs are struggling in the league and their form has deserted them on the home straight. As much as i admire spurs for scaling a challenge for 3rd place. I cannot see swansea putting down the hand brake. Prediction an honourable draw. Blackburn v manchester united. It would be unrealistic to believe blackburn will shit a miracle here. The onus is on manchester united serious title challenge and now they have gotten their noses in front will simply revert back to type winning well. Prediction manchester united to win. FOOTBALL MATCH OVERVIEW SATURDAY 24.3.12

Swansea V Everton.

Interestingly I do wonder what side of the Swans will turn up? Will the Swans frolic about uncontrolled, without consolidating their position? Or will the Swans emerge as a team in contention to start further campaigns in the premier league.

Even against an Everton side brimming with the experience of David Moyes Swansea should have taken all 3 points at the end of the whistle.

Chelsea V Spurs.

Spurs draw mid week against Stoke has meant Arsenal have gained ground on spurs, pushing Spurs into fourth.

With Chelsea's home record very respectible as overseen by the their care taker manager DM chelsea will win today as I cannot foresee Spurs pulling up their season.

I also expect with an FA Cup tie against Bolton Tuesday key players may be rested, and whether chelsea also rest players will remain the difference.

Liverpool v Wigan.

At Anfield it should be all too familiar for King Kenny's side and with home advantage and the ill form of Wigan this should mean a win for Liverpool at the final whistle.

Norwich V Wolves.

Could Wolves start to nurture some belief? You do wonder how Wolves season has worsened, and the Canaries should win at home unless Wolves can do anything within the laws to influence this.

Stoke V Manchester City.

Manchester City can loose or build towards winning the title this afternoon. Every game must be the deliverance of all 3 points, no pressure here then? Manchester United already have a 1 point majority and it will be difficult turning this around if Manchester City loose today.

A win for Manchester City then? It will certaintly be interesting how Stoke approach this after their mid week draw against Spurs, and the necessary of the two evils Manchester City needing the win and the points will be the difference I believe today.

Sunderland V QPR.

QPR surprised the nuetrals by winning 3.2. against Liverpool a close game.

Sunderland will be a different prospect at the Stadium of Light and for this reason I am calling this a draw.
