TOWER
HEIST 8th MARCH 2012
The
film Tower Heist sticks worse than shit to a blanket. Eddie Murphy is your
typical foul mouth. grilling the expletives and making lewd anal remarks as
characterised in Beverly hills cop and Trading Places.
Ben Stiller
doesn't endear himself either. Tower Heist isn't funny the jokes are half
cooked on the griddle. The characters and the supporting cast fade in and fade
out we cared nothing for them.
The
bloke from mash however has endeared credible to starting out as a bumbling CEO
charming and warm the bloke from mash becomes the rod that Tower Heist is
supposed to stay the journey with.
We
couldn't find one upswinging positive to recommend Tower Heist. We have
lavished our attention and by the second act we were restlessly bored flipped
open the DVD in-tray replacing it with another.
Apart
from the crediable bloke from mash the titles are exceptionally realised with
gold lift doors parting to impending scenes.
Tower
Heist isn't a good crime caper nor will it rewrite the genre it isn't even
worth the admission for the pop corn.
Tower
Heist will become such a slog you will feel the saying pushing treacle up the
hill is fully justified. Tower Heist is a one star movie rewarded for the
opening and closing gold elevators at the title screen this was exceptional.
